Sharnfold Farm FAQs
Do I need to book online?
Normally tickets are available on the gate on the day, however you get best value for money by booking online in advance. These tickets are always slightly cheaper too.
Do you do a discount for Carers
We offer free entry for one carer accompanying a full-paying visitor who requires additional support. To receive complimentary carer admission, please bring one of the following forms of valid supporting documentation:
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- Igo card
- National Disability Card (DID)
Please present this on arrival. Carers must be aged 18 or over. Please note we don’t currently have a separate accessible entry queue, so there may be a short wait during particularly busy periods. To help us apply our carer policy fairly and consistently, we ask that one of the above forms of supporting documentation is provided when requesting a second carer ticket.
Can I get a second carer for 2:1 care?
To receive a second carer’s ticket, you will need to provide supporting documentation:
- A registered GP or NHS letter notifying the recipient requires additional carer support. This must be dated within the last 2 years.
- An access card with the +2-carer symbol
Please note our staff cannot assess individual needs as they are not medically trained. Hence why we require documentation that meets the above criteria.
Do you offer a quiet time?
We do not offer any quiet sessions for entry on our farm, however, please feel free to contact us before your visit and we will advise you the best we can.
Our farm is big and there is plenty of space to explore meaning you should be able to find quieter areas around our farm trail.

Our online booking system is for advance bookings only so we can offer our customers a chance to experience the farm at a discounted rate.
