SHARNFOLD Farm reopened on Good Friday after the winter break – and it is now proving more popular than ever.
The team was determined to make some long-lasting improvements to the site when it closed last November., and customer reaction to the changes has been hugely positive.
Part of why it’s so popular is the tranquil and peaceful feeling as you enter the site with plenty of free parking before you enter the main attraction.
It gives you such a positive, feel good vibe.
The Farm now offers:
- Farmyard animals, including ducks, chicken, goats, sheep and many other
- Adventure playground, including sandpit, mini racers, balance beams and mini golf
- Active Alley, testing your physical activity
- Timber Town, Sharnfold’s woodland village
- Puzzle Patch, word searches and spot the difference
- Enchanted Enclosure
- Go on a giant bug hunt in Critter Corner
- And explore sounds and create your own music in the Sound Station.
The shop and cafe areas have also been renovated.
Donna Bull from The Family Parks Group – which owns Sharnfold – said: “Closing for winter gave us the opportunity to refresh what we have to offer at Sharnfold, and we are thrilled with the outcome.
“In particular, we are pleased with our newly-renovated cafe and shop. It’s a space that’s not just a shop and cafe but a haven for all things cosy, stylish and delicious.
“It was a difficult decision to have a four-month break but that has certainly paid off for the team at Sharnfold.
“Now, we intend to build on this success as the year progresses.”
There are special appearances and attractions on a regular basis, including Meet Bluey and Bingo, and Meet Peppa and George.
Annual memberships are available. Sharnfold is a blend of education, entertainment and interaction with nature, and this is the easiest way to enjoy the Farm all year-round.
It’s a great place to come for the day because there are so many different things to do and see. It can also be a peaceful haven for many who want to enjoy some fresh air in such lovely surroundings.
You can also go Fishing at Sharnfold – from 7am to 7pm – and there is a Caravan Site. It is a Caravan and Motorhome Club 5 van Certificated Localtion (CL) and is only available to club members.
