Blue Lake

Kingfisher Lake

Roy’s Lake

Rules and Regulations

The following rules must be always adhered to. Failure to stick to the rules you will be asked to leave the lakes immediately.

Fishing
  • You must have a current up to date Environment Agency Fishing Licence, which must be produced if you are asked for it. These can be obtained online or from a post office
  • You require a day ticket to fish; these are obtainable from the shop during shop opening hours or from the bailiff on the bank (cash only). Day tickets are 7am to 7pm
  • All property is left at the owner’s own risk
  • Unhooking mats and landing nets must be used
  • Barbless hooks only
  • Rods are not to be left unattended on the lakeside
  • No keep nets to be used. All fish to returned to lakes. Fish not to be removed from the fishery under any circumstances
  • Please do not put unused bait into the water, take it home with you or put it into the bins provided
  • All fish to be handled with care. No standing up with fish
  • All litter to be taken away with you or placed into the bins in the car park
  • Please have respect for fellow anglers. Mid water casting only on Kingfisher Lake. When the lakes are busy, please keep your lines in your swim to prevent casting over your fellow anglers
  • No bait boats
  • No swimming or wading in the lakes under any circumstances
  • Only two rods per angler
  • All nets must be dipped
  • No stalking allowed
  • No floating bread
  • Under 14s tickets available for £4.00 per day for Roy’s Lake and Crucian Lake. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult
IMPORTANT NOTE FROM LYONS GATE WARDEN

No one under the age of 14 is allowed to fish on Kingfisher or Blue Lake.
