At the very heart of Sharnfold Farm is our Adventure Playground, a space bursting with fun for children of all ages. From digging and building in the sandpit to zooming around on mini racers, testing balance skills on beams, or soaring high on the nest swing, there’s something for every little adventurer. Families can also enjoy a round of mini golf together before climbing onto our giant chair – the perfect spot for a playful family photo to remember your day at the farm.
Get up close to the fascinating world of mini-beasts at Critter Corner. Children can go on the hunt for giant bug models while also spotting the real tiny creatures that call our bug hotels home. From buzzing bees to crawling beetles, it’s a hands-on way to learn about the important role insects play in the natural world – and a fun adventure for curious little explorers.
Wander through the winding paths of Willow Way, a living play space crafted from more than 800 planted willow rods. These beautiful natural structures grow and change with the seasons, creating tunnels, hideouts, and secret corners just waiting to be explored. It’s a place where children can play, imagine, and connect with nature – while adults admire the creativity and craftsmanship of this ever-evolving feature.
From June onwards, our Wildflower Field comes alive in a breathtaking display of colour. Wander through swathes of blossoms buzzing with bees and butterflies, soak up the peaceful countryside setting, and enjoy the beauty of nature at its best. It’s the perfect spot for a summer stroll, a quiet moment of reflection, or capturing those picture-perfect photos to remember your day at Sharnfold Farm.
Take a break from exploring and put your brain to the test in our Puzzle Patch. Packed with word searches, spot-the-difference games, and other fun brain teasers, it’s a chance for the whole family to slow down, sit together, and enjoy a different kind of challenge. Step into Lawn Games Land, where playtime is for everyone! Step across the stepping stones and discover our magical treehouse hideout, a secret corner where adventure begins. Tucked away amongst the trees, it’s the perfect place for children to let their imaginations run wild – from make-believe castles to woodland adventures. Whether they’re climbing, exploring, or simply enjoying the view, Hollow Hideout is where stories come to life.
Welcome to Timber Town, our charming woodland village where make-believe comes to life. With its very own florist, post office, wishing well, and more, children can step into a world of imaginative play – delivering letters, creating woodland bouquets, or making wishes for their next adventure. Surrounded by nature, Timber Town is the perfect place for young minds to role-play, explore, and let their creativity run free.
Take a stroll down Sensory Street, a playful pathway designed to awaken the senses. Feel a variety of textures underfoot, discover vibrant sights, and enjoy the sounds of nature all around you. Unleash your inner musician at Sound Station, where everyday upcycled objects are transformed into instruments. Get moving in Active Alley, the perfect spot for children (and grown-ups!) to burn off some energy. Packed with exciting challenges, obstacle-style activities, and races, it’s all about testing your skills while having fun. From friendly competitions with family and friends to simply racing against the clock, Active Alley is a lively space where laughter, teamwork, and playful rivalry take centre stage.
All aboard for adventure in Vehicle Valley! Children can climb into the driver’s seat of our custom-made train, tractor, and jeep, sparking endless role-play fun. Whether pretending to be a farmer in the fields, a train conductor on the tracks, or an explorer setting off on safari, Vehicle Valley is the perfect pit stop for imaginative play and hands-on excitement.
October at Sharnfold Farm wouldn’t be complete without a visit to our Pumpkin Field. Open every weekend and throughout Half Term, it’s the perfect place to wander the patch, find your ideal pumpkin, and snap some seasonal family photos along the way. With a wide variety of shapes and sizes to choose from, whether you’re planning to carve a spooky creation or cook up something delicious, our pumpkin field is brimming with autumn fun and memories waiting to be made.
Get ready to lose yourself in our towering Maize Maze, a seasonal favourite that’s full of twists, turns, and surprises around every corner. Perfect for families, friends, and adventurers of all ages, it’s a fun challenge to see who can find their way out first – or who gets the most delightfully lost along the way! Throughout the Farm Trail kids (big and small) can get up close with a friendly and heartwarming cast of adorable animals including; goats, sheep, alpacas, rabbits, ducks, donkeys, chickens, cows, and more, including the occasional tortoise or guinea pig snuggled away and don’t forget to go bug hunting in Critter Corner!
Families love the closeness and friendliness of our animals. We always hear about ‘very friendly donkeys’ and hands-on fun feeding the ducks and chickens keeps kids smiling all day

Pumpkin Field
Throughout October, our PYO pumpkin field is open on weekends and during Half Term, offering fantastic photo opportunities and a wide selection of pumpkins to choose from.
Camping At Sharnfold

Sharnfold is Caravan and Motorhome Club 5-Van Certified. As a Certified Location (CL), camping is available only to Club members, who can enjoy easy access to our events from a large, well-maintained field in the heart of the farm, with electrical hook-ups available and more than enough space for awnings.
Sharnfold Lake
Purpose-designed for fishing and dug in 1995, our man-made lake has beautiful natural aesthetics and a central reservation. Over the past thirty years we’ve earned a great reputation among local anglers.

The Sharnfold Café, Soft Play & Shop
You’ll find a delicious selection of light bites, homemade cakes, and hot drinks at the Sharnfold Café. We want everything to be perfect after exploring the farm or enjoying the trail, and it gives you a chance to sit back and relax in easy view of the little ones enjoying our soft play area.
