FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does part exchanging work?

Once you have seen a holiday home you wish to purchase, our sales adviser will offer a price for your existing holiday home and you simply pay the difference. They will then guide you through how the exchange works and arrange a suitable date.

How long can I keep my holiday home on site for?

Holiday homes can stay on site for 20 years from new. If you buy a 15 year old caravan, you have a minimum of 5 years on Park to give you plenty to time to enjoy the lifestyle before you have to consider upgrade options.

What are the costs associated with buying a holiday home?

In addition to the purchase price of your holiday home there are annual costs: pitch fees and insurance. Prices vary per Park. Your sales advisor can confirm what these will be depending on the holiday home you’re buying.

Do I get a warranty with my holiday home?

Yes, brand new holiday homes will have a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty and pre-owned homes are sold as seen but will generally have a services warranty of 3 months. This will be confirmed with you at the time of purchase.

Can I choose my own plot for my new purchase?

Once you have chosen your holiday home the sales advisor will show you what plots are available for the size of your purchase in a suitable location for you.

What if I want to sell my holiday home?

In the circumstances that you may need to sell your holiday home, your sales advisor or park manager will talk you through all of your options as listed in your site license.

What does the pitch fee include?

The pitch fee includes all maintenance and service required to keep the park safe, and well run and beautiful. This covers care of the grounds – lawns, trees and planting of the communal park areas, refuse disposal, road maintenance, drainage maintenance as well as use of all park facilities such as club house (with seasonal entertainment). It also covers the supply of water and sewerage.

Can I build my decking/skirting for my holiday home?

Decking/skirting can only be purchased via our company preferred suppliers, plans must be submitted to the park office of your proposal. Our collaborated supplier will visit you to measure the decking/skirting and forward us the quotation of the works/costs involved. We do not allow owners to fit their own decking/skirting.

Are dogs allowed onsite?

Yes, all parks are dog friendly! We ask owners to keep dogs on leads and clear up after them to keep the park clear.

Are my friends and family allowed to use the holiday home when I’m not present?

Yes, we just ask you to make all users aware of the park rules and regulations.

Can I make amendments to my holiday home?

Our advice is not to, removing any fixed original furnishings could devalue your holiday home and invalidate the warranty.

Will I get internet on the park?

Most service providers can supply you with your own individual internet for your static caravan, this is not included in the purchase.

Can I live in my holiday home?

You can spend as much time in your holiday home as you like during the park’s open months, but our parks are holiday parks and not residential. All new owners will have to provide proof of an off-park address.

Can I remove my holiday home from your park?

In the circumstances that you wish to take your holiday home offsite, we will carry out the disconnection of your holiday home for a fee. Transport will need to be organised by you. All outstanding bills must be paid in full before the holiday home leaves the park.
