We are spreading the love this weekend!

This weekend, we’re welcoming our local neighbours in Peacehaven, Lewes and Seaford for a special FREE day of farm-tastic fun!  If you live in the postcode areas  BN2, BN7, BN8, BN10 and BN25 then grab your chance to enjoy a FREE day at our farm.

Come and explore our beautiful farm, meet the animals, enjoy the fresh air, and soak up all the rustic charm that makes Sharnfold Farm so special. Whether you love fluffy lambs, clucking chickens, or just a good old-fashioned day outdoors, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

How it works:

  • Choose the day of the weekend that suits you best – but remember, your ticket is only valid for that day.
  • Each household can claim up to 4 free tickets.
  • Limited tickets available, so act fast!
  • Extra friends or family are welcome – additional tickets can be purchased at the gate on arrival.

Protect Your Pipes During Cold Weather

Frozen pipes are one of the most common winter issues for holiday home owners.

Top tips:

  • Ensure exposed pipes are lagged
  • Leave cupboard doors open to allow warm air to circulate
  • If you’re away, set heating to a low background temperature

This is especially important at coastal parks where cold winds can increase the risk of freezing.

Don’t forget ventilation

It may feel counter-intuitive in winter, but ventilation is essential to prevent condensation and damp.

Owner advice:

  • Open windows briefly on dry days
  • Ensure vents remain unblocked
  • Use extractor fans in kitchens and bathrooms

At countryside parks good airflow helps protect interiors during colder, wetter months.
